General description

R210A series of reference resistors present an accurate and stable source of electrical resistance at an affordable price. R210A resistors are based on a Vishay VHP101 hermetically sealed foil resistive element, which provides superb short-term and long-term stability, as well as a fair level of immunity to mechanical and electrical stress. R210A resistors feature extremely low temperature coefficient, which enables the use in air at normal laboratory ambient conditions, eliminating the need for additional thermal enclosure.

R210A resistors can be order with a limited selection of standard values, as well as any resistance value in the range from 25 ohm to 100 kohm. Each resistor is individually evaluated in our factory laboratory, so actual resistance value and temperature coefficient at 23 °C are specified for each unit at no additional cost. As an option, we can also provide an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate from our local national metrology institute.

R210A resistors are primarily applicable as working standards in laboratory measurements. They are perfectly suited as external standard for our UT-ONE thermometer readout, which brings its accuracy to even better levels. They can be used as check standard to check any thermometer/resistance readout, ranging from high accuracy thermometer readouts like UT-ONE to basic temperature regulators in an industrial process. R210A resistors can also be used as transfer standard for recalibration of your thermometer readouts.
